Coriander can be stored whole and ground when needed. With a mild, distinctive taste similar to a blend of lemon and sage, it is used in Indian curries, sausages, chutneys and Moroccan cooking, as well as to flavor gin. It is frequently used in combination with cumin seeds for a Middle Eastern flavor.
